ISO 10416:2008 provides procedures for the laboratory testing of both drilling-fluid materials and drilling-fluid physical, chemical and performance properties. It is applicable to both water-based and oil-based drilling fluids, as well as the base or “make-up” fluid. ISO 10416:2008 is not applicable as a detailed manual on drilling fluid control procedures. Recommendations regarding agitation and testing temperature are presented because the agitation history and temperature have a profound effect on drilling fluid properties.

NOTE 2 These branchpipes are not adapted when fighting fires in or near electrical installations when the spray jet angle is less than 30° without written authorization in the manual (safety distances included).

It defines the principles, processes and supporting elements for organizations to apply when planning, implementing and improving digitalization within FM. The purpose of this standard is to ensure that FM organizations can adopt digital practices in a consistent and effective manner that improves operational efficiency, enhances decision-making and strengthens resilience. The standard is written as a companion to EN ISO 41001 [5] Facility management — Management systems — Requirements with guidance for use and EN 15221-8 [2] Facility management — Principles and processes. Its role is not to duplicate the management system requirements of EN ISO 41001 [5] or the principles and processes of EN 15221-8 [2], but to provide the digitalization dimension that complements both. NOTE Annex B describes the relationship between this document and other standards. This standard applies broadly. It is relevant to: — organizations of any type, size, or sector engaged in FM; — both in-house FM functions and outsourced FM service providers; — all phases of FM service delivery and the asset life cycle. Certain elements are outside the scope of this document. General FM principles and processes are covered in EN 15221-8 [2], while the management system requirements for FM are addressed by EN ISO 41001 [5]. These exclusions ensure that this document remains focused on digital transformation as a distinct, yet integrated, component of FM.

This document specifies procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens and procedures for measuring properties of the materials from which these specimens are made. Properties and test methods which are suitable and necessary to characterize PE-UHMW moulding and extrusion materials are established. The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350-1. Other test methods in wide use for or of particular significance to these moulding and extrusion materials are also included in this document, as are the designatory properties specified in ISO 21304-1. This document specifies the-materials with MFR less than 0,1 g/10 min at 190 °C /21,6 kg based on ISO 17855-1. The methods of preparation and conditioning, the specimen dimensions and the test procedures specified in this document are used in order to obtain reproducible and comparable test results. Values determined will not necessarily be identical to those obtained using specimens of different dimensions or prepared using different procedures.

This document does not provide protection against high mechanical risks such as for protection when using chain saws.
